A heat dome is about to bake the Central and Eastern U.S. this week, similar to a record-breaking heat wave that hit Europe last week. Temperatures in the 90s and 100s are possible across much of the South and even parts of the Northeast for cities like Dallas, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and New York City. Sweltering humidity will make these temperatures feel even worse. Meteorologist Rob Shackelford breaks it down.
