Another round of storms is sweeping from the Mississippi Valley to the Southeast today, bringing a renewed flood threat to an already saturated region. Flood watches are already in effect across parts of the region. Downpours could drop 3-5 inches of rain in some areas, particularly across Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee as the rain pushes further south. If you are in the affected areas, please avoid flooded roads and never drive through standing water.
