CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A cold front continues to slowly push southward through the region today.

This will usher in lower humidity and seasonable temperatures with highs in the low to mid 80s this afternoon.

However, the front is still close enough that isolated showers and storms may develop this afternoon, particularly south of the lakeshore.

Most locations, though, remain dry under a partly cloudy sky.

Areas of fog early on will lift by late morning.

Tonight stays dry and comfortably cool as low temperatures fall to the low and mid 60s.

A dry stretch begins Sunday and lasts through Thursday.

Temperatures slowly rise each day and reach the 90s Tuesday through Thursday, marking this summer’s second heat wave.

Humidity will not be as high this time around, keeping heat indices in the mid and upper 90s and generally out of the triple digits.

Scattered showers and storms return to the forecast on Friday.
