A stormy pattern will remain locked in place for much of the South, from Texas to the Carolinas. Watch out for potential severe storms during the afternoon hours, with damaging winds. The Carolinas have the greatest risk of strong storms, but all across the Southeast, we could see storms pop up, so be careful if you have outdoor plans.
