Dry, hot and windy conditions are fueling wildfire growth and expansion across the western half of the country. Fire potential is at extreme levels across parts of Washington and Oregon, with critical conditions extending into Idaho and Nevada. Smoke is expected to spread over 1,000 miles, reaching as far as Oklahoma City. If you are in or near an impacted area, know when to seek shelter and be prepared to evacuate.
