Wildfire smoke continues to drive poor air quality across much of the West. Elevated fire potential remains in place across much of the northern Rockies as extreme heat and drought create dangerous conditions. Isolated dry thunderstorms are possible, which could spark additional lightning-induced fires. Wear a mask, remain indoors when possible and stay safe. Know your evacuation route if you are in a risk area. Here's the latest.
