Keeping your home safe amid wildfire smoke

When there’s wildfire smoke outside, one of the first things to do is to stay inside and close windows. But there are occasions to open those windows. When the air quality is bad, it is best to keep the hazardous air outside. But you can use the Air Quality Index (AQI) to determine when the air is safe enough to open a window, and sometimes heat may require you to open a window.
