Multiple days of severe storms will target the Northeast this week, beginning today and lasting through at least Thursday. Today’s threat also includes parts of the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes and Midwest, and it could bring the potential for damaging winds and large hail. Places like New York City, Philadelphia and Washington need to be on alert. Multiple rounds of severe storms and heavy rainfall will lead to the possibility of flash flooding. Many storms will fire up during rush hour commutes, so plan ahead and make sure you have a way to get weather alerts.
