Another day of severe storms and the potential for flooding remains for the Northeast, including New York City and Philadelphia. Today’s threat also includes parts of the Great Lakes. The main threats will be damaging winds and large hail. Places like New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington need to be on alert. Thursday will be more of the same, with more severe storms expected. With multiple rounds of severe storms and heavy rainfall, we could see the threat of flash flooding. Many storms will fire up during rush hour commutes, so plan ahead and make sure you have a way to get weather alerts.
