Dangerous heat continues this week for much of the country, including the Southern and Central Plains as well as the Southeast, with little relief in the near future. Record-breaking heat is possible across the Plains and Southwest, and while the 10-day forecast is calling for more heat, things start to cool off a little by the two-week outlook.
