Rain had already started to fall and Hurricane Isaias was creating pounding surf along Florida’s Pensacola Beach on Friday, but that didn’t keep everyone away from the sand. Escambia County had issued a mandatory evacuation order for zones that included Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Innerarity Point and other low-lying areas. Hurricane Isaias, expected to make landfall Friday night, was forecast to push in a storm surge of up to 9 feet.
