An active weather pattern will ramp up for the West by Wednesday. Multiple days of flooding are expected for the Southwest, which has seen more rain this season due to tropical systems. The rain and mountain snow will shift to the Intermountain West by the end of the week and eventually to the Central Plains on Saturday. The West will need to keep their rain jackets available as more rain is expected next week too.
