A developing coastal system will bring a round of heavy rain, a dip in temperatures and maybe a wet flurry in the Northeast on Friday and Saturday. Spotty flooding is possible in New York City, Hartford, Providence and Boston Friday night. Temperatures from Thursday to Monday will drop 15-20 degrees and there will be a definite chill in the air by the time we start the next workweek from New York to New England.
