Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (Sat 8:15 p.m. EST): The natural grass field at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara will get dampened by rain from a weather system affecting California through early Saturday.

As for the game itself, scattered showers could fall at times from late afternoon into early evening, but we don't expect a heavy, widespread soaking. Temperatures should be in the 50s and winds likely won't be strong, generally ranging from 5 to 10 mph out of the south or southeast.

Model Forecast Of Rain Near Kickoff, Temperature And Winds

Sunday's Games

Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (Sun 6:30 p.m. EST): The recent siege of lake-effect snow will be finished by the time Sunday rolls around, so the biggest weather impact for this game will be digging out the stands. Shovelers are being offered $20 an hour by the Bills to once again help with those stadium-clearing efforts.

Kickoff is forecast to have partly cloudy skies with winds out of the west-southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures are expected to be in the lower 20s with wind chills in the lower teens. Cold, yes, but not quite as bad as Kansas City endured in its home playoff game last weekend, with a kickoff temperature of minus 4 degrees.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions (Sun 3 p.m. EST): This game is indoors at Ford Field, keeping it nice and comfortable instead of temperatures in the 20s expected outside.
