Here’s how the evening forecast is shaping up for trick-or-treaters: Showers and a few thunderstorms may linger along the cold front, dampening parts of the eastern Great Lakes to the Ohio Valley and lower Mississippi Valley this evening. That might include Cincinnati, Nashville and New Orleans.

Rain or snow showers and windy conditions are expected in parts of northern Michigan and northern Wisconsin. Rain showers and mountain snow might also affect the Pacific Northwest in spots.
