Italy Avalanche Rumbles Toward Group Of Skiers

Watch as an avalanche rolls down the slopes of Mont Blanc in Courmayeur, Italy, on Tuesday. A long line of skiers waiting for a lift were caught in the powdery cloud unleashed by the avalanche. Ski instructor Jean Claude Chiementin, who shot the video, said the area is “known to release snow frequently” and is considered a safe spot. Chiementin said the avalanche caught on camera was the third one of the day and no one was injured.
