Temperatures are set to take a nose dive across the eastern half of the country, with highs in the Northern Plains falling 30 degrees by Wednesday before a brief rebound on Thursday. While the Plains warm back up, however, temperatures are plunging in the Great Lakes and Southeast, with wind chills in the teens stretching as far south as Alabama and Georgia
