By Monday afternoon, a cold front will swing through and produce a sharp decrease in temperatures throughout the region. Some cities may see their daytime temperatures drop 15 to 20 degrees between Monday and Tuesday. Rain is likely from New England to the central Appalachians. Parts of northern New England may continue to see a wintry mix.
