Alvin’s Moisture Brings Rain To Southwest, Plains

June 3, 2025

Tropical Storm Alvin has dissipated, yet the moisture from the storm’s remnants will continue to bring moisture to the Desert Southwest and Plains. Arizona, New Mexico and the Four Corners region, we will see temperatures as much as 15-20 degrees cooler because of the added cloud cover and rainfall. As we get into the early part of the work week, the moisture will help fuel thunderstorms across the Plains. From Minnesota to Texas, we could see strong storms develop on Monday, then march slightly eastward on Tuesday, bringing the potential for severe weather to parts of the Midwest and Plains. Watch to see when and where the strongest storms will be.
