A strong cold front will usher in much colder air slated to arrive Thursday and Friday depending on where you live. High temperatures will struggle to hit the freezing mark in areas such as the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes. Overnight lows will dip into the twenties, teens and even single digits in a few spots across the Upper Midwest, especially where there is snowpack from Winter Storm Bellamy. Even the Deep South will see temperatures drop well below average, as lows dip into the 30s as far south as northern Florida by Friday morning. If you’re traveling, make sure you know how cold it will be at your destination, so you can pack accordingly. The next arctic blast could drop temperatures even more early next week in the Upper Midwest and Great Plains. Watch this video to see how widespread the cold will be.
