Cooler Temps Bring Relief For The Southeast

A high pressure system stationed in the Northeast is bringing easterly winds to the Southeast, and with that comes cooler temperatures. Much of the Southeast will see some heat relief in the coming days, with below-average temperatures spanning from Virginia to Alabama. High temperatures are expected to be in the mid-to-low 70s. Records could be broken with cool high temperatures in cities like Atlanta, Macon, Asheville, Augusta, Chattanooga. Watch for the latest forecast.
