Extreme Heat Continues For Central, Eastern US

The dangerous heat continues from the Great Lakes down to the Gulf Coast with heat advisories and extreme heat warnings in effect for millions. Feels-like temperatures will range between 100 to 110 degrees for many locations. The worst of the heat will be felt in places like St. Louis, Memphis, New Orleans, Little Rock and Jackson where heat indices could get as high as 115 degrees. Relief arrives for the Great Lakes and Midwest late week as the dangerous heat is set to impact the Northeast Thursday and Friday.
