Early Week Record Heat Targets Eastern US

A pattern change will allow the above-average warmth to spread across the eastern half of the U.S. through the middle of the week. Dozens of record highs and warm record lows will be in jeopardy and this includes parts of the Interstate 95 corridor from Philadelphia to Washington as highs climb into the 80s.
