Several days of rain and mountain snow are slamming California this week. From Pebble Beach to San Francisco and Sacramento, the rain will continue through Sunday before drifting southward toward Los Angeles and San Diego. There is some flooding potential on Monday for lower elevations, especially over burn scars from recent fires. The Sierra Nevada could take on many feet of new snow in the week ahead.
