Rainy Week Ahead For Southeast As Flood Threat Continues

A stationary front stretched across the south will bring stormy weather and heavy rain for much of today and through this week. Three to 5 inches of rain or more are expected to fall in parts of southern Georgia and the Florida panhandle through Thursday. Flooding is possible with the associated ongoing rain. Cities like Atlanta, Macon, Valdosta, Columbus, Savannah, Montgomery, Mobile, Tallahassee, and Jacksonville are in regions likely to get the most rain and possible flooding.
