An intense heat wave is set to peak across the Southwest early next week, bringing summerlike heat to millions. Daily records as well as all-time March records could fall as many areas see temperatures rise into the 90s and even 100s. Highs will be running as much as 25 degrees above normal from Southern California to West Texas from Monday through Wednesday of next week.
