An unsettled weather pattern is setting up across the Southeast as the heat dome begins to break down. The best chance for storms will be during the afternoons and the activity should be scattered at best, so none of the days look like a washout. However, a few of these storms may turn severe with damaging winds and large hail as the main threats. Locally heavy rain could also lead to flash flooding.
