A cold front will sweep through the central and eastern U.S., bringing cooler temps and a taste of fall for millions next week. High temperatures will be 5 to 15 degrees below average for many upper Midwest states such as Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dekota and South Dakota. Low temperatures could be in the upper 40s for Omaha, Minneapolis and Fargo. Early next week, this front will bring cooler temperatures to the East as well. The cold front will also bring drier air and nice relief for many compared to the hot, humid summer temperatures often seen in August. Watch for the latest forecast.
