Daily tropical downpours will impact the Southeast coast and Gulf Coast this week as an area of low pressure forms. Rain could be heavy at times and may fall at a rate of 2 to 4 inches per hour in any one location. Storms will be most numerous across the Southeast coast and Florida on Tuesday and Wednesday, before shifting west to the northern Gulf Coast on Thursday and Friday.
