Pumpkins are a true sign that fall is here. You can bake with them, carve them for decorations, and even fill 'em up with your favorite pumpkin beer.

The popular orange gourds are plentiful in autumn because they grow best in warm seasons, particularly late spring and summer. The best time to harvest is before the first heavy frost. You can learn more about planting and caring for pumpkins here on weather.com.
