Monster Waves, Tidal Surge Kill 3 On This Spanish Island

The Canary Islands’ government issued an advisory asking people to stay away from shorelines Sunday as rough seas and high winds produced monster waves. However, nearly 20 people were swept out to sea off Tenerife Island, and three of them did not make it back to shore.
