In Alaska’s capital of Juneau, winter delivered a remarkably white winter this year. December alone delivered what would typically fall across an entire year. As residents struggled to deal with over 80 inches of snowfall - burying cars, collapsing roofs, and sinking boats - warmer temperatures in January threatened the area with avalanches.
