Weather Buddies: 'Donovan'

Donovan is a 10 year old blue merle Australian Shepherd who lives in Miami, Florida. “Donovan is 10 years old and has been a certified therapy dog since he was two years old. I was blessed to find Donovan at a rescue facility in Jupiter, FL when he was 15 months old. He has worked, loving those in need, at medical facilities, schools, natural disasters, and even our local Lowes store (where he thinks he is an employee!). He especially loves young children. They are like sugar to him. Besides being a veteran therapy dog, what makes Donovan special is that he has a disability. You see, Donovan has been deaf since birth, which keeps him calm and focused, no matter how crazy the environment. Besides being a veteran therapy dog, what makes Donovan special is that he has a disability. Donovan is very gentle, and is all about love, love, love. Look at his amazing eyes and you will see what I mean. I am soooo blessed to have this amazing boy ,and he gives me such joy and therapy every day. As I always tell people when we are working, “when you have a dog this special, you have to share him with the world.” He even has his own Instagram and Facebook page (Donovantheaussie).
