Taffy is an 8 year old dog who lives in Saint Charles, Illinois. “Taffy is a sweet, 8 year old female rescue dog of unknown breeding who lives in Saint Charles, IL, a suburb of Chicago. She is one of the world's most resilient dogs! She has survived and fully recovered from two separate, vicious, unprovoked dog attacks, the first of which left her front left leg permanently bent, as you can see in the photo. She has also survived a completely torn ACL in one rear leg and a partial tear in the other rear leg, each of which left the respective leg unusable for months at a time. She has also weathered an endless string of serious infections, injuries, and various other maladies over her 8 years. Through it all, she has never lost her positive attitude and sweet disposition and is still able to fully enjoy her daily walks. Perhaps instead of Taffy she should be named Tabby, as she seems to be a cat with 9 lives! You keep going sweet girl!
