Before and after images show the destruction Tropical Storm Isaias brought to North Carolina beach towns on Tuesday.

Drone and satellite images show scenes of boats knocked off their moorings at Southport Marina in Southport, North Carolina, as well as sand-strewn and flooded roads in Oak Island, North Carolina. Paired with images from Google Street View from before the storm, the differences are striking.

The storm made landfall late Monday night at the South Carolina-North Carolina border as a Category 1 hurricane, packing maximum sustained winds of 85 mph. At least 17 people had to be rescued from Oak Island as homes flooded.
