Wildfires have killed three and burned hundreds of homes in Northern California since Sunday night.

Shasta County Sheriff Eric Magrini confirmed three deaths in the Zogg Fire that began Sunday near Igo, according to the Redding Record Searchlight. The victims have yet to be identified.

The Zogg Fire burned more than 81 square miles by Wednesday afternoon, and is 7% contained.

The Glass Fire charred wineries and vineyards in an area that is home to at least five dozen wineries. Photos show employees returning to the scene to salvage what is left of office supplies.

The fire forced Adventist Health St. Helena to transfer about 50 patients to other healthcare facilities and to suspend hospital and emergency care.

St. Helena's Chateau Boswell Winery was engulfed in flames Sunday night, and The San Jose Mercury News reported that the Hunnicutt and Failla wineries were destroyed in the flames.

About a mile away from Chateau Boswell, the Black Rock Inn was also ablaze, and the Chronicle reported several other structures on fire Monday.

Photos show that fire also destroyed a farmhouse at Castello di Amorosa, another popular Napa Valley tourist destination. The property’s castle was not damaged.
