Heavy rains have flooded at least 62 refugee camps in Syria this week, according to ReliefWeb, killing a six-year-old boy and leaving tens of thousands displaced.

At least 41,200 people have been affected by the severe weather, and at least 2,558 tents have been damaged or destroyed by the storm.

Many of the refugees have lost all they had after first fleeing civil war and then facing the devastating flood. Some of the displaced have been forced to sleep in the open air, facing freezing temperatures with no shelter.
