Photos show parts of the Great Wall in northern China coated in a layer of snow as the region saw its first snowfall of the season this week.

The snow continued in some areas since Sunday, and brought record snowfall to Shenyang, according to the meteorological authority. The snow was still falling in the city Tuesday morning, with an additional 2 inches reported by 8 a.m.

CGTN reported that Liaoning's Anshan City received more than 15 inches of snow by Monday afternoon.

The South China Morning Post shared a video of a building collapsing beneath the heavy snowfall in Tianjin. The video featured other issues caused by the storm, such as blocked roads and slippery walkways.
