Homes and businesses were damaged in several states as a severe weather outbreak marched across the South Wednesday.

There were several reports of tornadoes, as well as high winds. Trees and power lines were knocked down, too.

The damage included an elementary school in Arkansas, a hospital in Tennessee and some buildings in downtown Jackson, Mississippi.
