Cleanup continues Thursday morning after severe thunderstorms and high winds damaged cars, buildings, downed trees and knocked out power to hundreds of thousands across the Upper Midwest Wednesday night.

Ohio's Sandusky State Theatre collapsed in high winds Wednesday evening, spilling bricks onto the road and damaging nearby cars.

Resident Susan Porterfield Prentice snapped photos and wrote in a Facebook post that when she asked Chris Parthemore, the theater's executive director, about how the inside of the theater looked, Parthemore responded, "What inside?" but that he is determined to rebuild.

More than 350,000 customers across the region were still without electricity late Thursday morning, with the bulk of outages in Michigan, affecting more than 260,000 customers, according to PowerOutage.us.

A confirmed tornado touched down in the Leetonia area in Pennsylvania, and there is an ongoing investigation of a possible tornado in Beaver Falls, according to the National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh.

Throughout nearby Allegheny County, there were reports of downed power lines and trees, and damage to several roofs, according to officials.

The winds also knocked over several semis— at least two in Gratriot County, Michigan, one in Zeeland, Michigan, two in Lagrange County, Indiana, and one near Bryan, Ohio.

A combination of Tropical Storm Cristobal's effects and an upper low fueled the severe weather.
