Winter Storm Scott's heavy, wet snow snarled traffic, caused power outages and canceled flights and classes as the storm slammed the Northeast Sunday into Monday.

Nearly 60,000 customers were without electricity from New Jersey to Maine, with a large percentage of outages in Massachusetts.

From West Virginia to Maine, school districts canceled classes or scheduled delayed openings due to the storm. In New Jersey, Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency, while Pennsylvania's state of emergency from January remained in effect.
