Winter Storm Anya has dumped up to 3 feet of snow in parts of New Mexico, forcing school and road closures and numerous power outages. Power officials are calling it “unprecedented” as the early-fall storm arrived. Leaves were still on many trees, leading to a number of damaged branches.
