Storm Remnants Blow Birds Across Atlantic

The remnants of Hurricane Lee were strong enough to whisk more than a dozen North American land bird species across the Atlantic to parts of western Europe. After being blown off-course, it’s likely that naturally occurring outside influences prevented the birds from returning to their normal habitat, experts say.
