What do you do with a few fireworks, a broom and an iced over lake in Sweden? Light off the fireworks under ice, of course.

Okay, so that might not be so obvious, but somebody had to try it, and the video above is the result.

These people decided to set off their fireworks under the ice layer of this frozen lake. Using the broom handle to make small holes in the ice, one person places the firework inside the hole and lights it.

If you're thinking the water will just kill the spark, you're wrong. The result? The firework still fires, and then explodes through the ice. The onlookers get the usual fireworks display, only this time it's on top of ice, rather than high in the sky.
