Tsunami Warning Issued In Hawaii For Russia Earthquake

One of the 10 largest earthquakes on record struck just off Russia’s Pacific coast on Tuesday evening U.S. time, prompting tsunami warnings for Hawaii and tsunami watches for the entire U.S. West Coast. The earthquake was given a preliminary magnitude of 8.8 and the epicenter was just off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula.
