Strap in for a new eco-adventure in Central Florida’s wooded wetlands. Florida EcoSafaris, located in St. Cloud, just south of Orlando, now features the Cypress Canopy Cycle — a recumbent bicycle encased in a bright yellow safety cage suspended from a zip-line wire 25 feet up.Riders leisurely pedal through pine and cypress trees to the soundtrack of the wind rustling through palmetto branches. Look up to spot woodpeckers in the tree canopy; look down, and there’s George, a 14-foot alligator. He’s obviously used to the sight of airborne bicyclists.
