With his stunning shots of a paraglider over the spectacular Lake Annecy and daredevil skiers in the French Alps, it's clear that France-based photographer Tristan Lebeschu, who also goes by the name Tristan Shu, gets his inspiration from adventure and the alpine scenery located near his home.

"I'm not stuck to one genre of photography, but action is the one I prefer the most, probably because it fits my lifestyle," Lebeschu told weather.com. "I love being outdoors and the teamwork of the athletes I'm shooting to produce good photos."

The photographer was raised in Paris, and began taking photos of he and his friends snowboarding in the Alps, originally using disposable cameras. As the world went digital, Lebeschu began shooting his photography digitally. He now supports himself solely on his photography.

Lebeschu says that his relationship with the athletes he photographs is paramount to making each image. "There is no routine and thus no typical way of shooting," he said. "However, the relationship and discussion with the athletes I'm shooting with are key to make the visual we've imagined."

As Lebeschu photographs in extreme locations, such as mountaintops, weather plays an extremely important role in his work.

"I love to shoot in all type of weather conditions," said Lebeschu. "Gray skies can come out incredible in black and white, or perfect using flashes. Even if they are harder to endure, windy days and heavy snow falls are also incredible times to shoot. I also like when it's nice, mild and sunny– you don't necessarily need to suffer to get interesting photos."

"I'm a positive person, and I suppose my photos are the reflection of that. I'm influenced by my surroundings and the beautiful places I'm lucky to shoot at, and of course the people around me."
