These divers don't need to be at the Olympics to take a swan dive and show off their skill. The 16th annual FINA (the International Swimming Federation) World Championships, held in Kazan, Russia in August saw some of the world's most graceful divers. For three days, athletes from around the globe gather and perform dives from a 27m platform (men) and a 20m platform (women).

Before they enter the water, athletes contort their bodies to complete a series of flips and twists in the air. These photos capture how beautiful those movements can be.
