Atlantic: Tracking 3 Areas For Development

The National Hurricane Center is now watching three different areas in the Atlantic for tropical development. The wave closest to the Leeward Islands will likely develop into a tropical depression over the next few days. Invest 99L, the wave in the Eastern Atlantic, could become a short-lived tropical depression as it moves west. A third area in the central Atlantic has a low chance of development. Here’s the latest.
