NHC Tracking Gabrielle Plus New Wave

Tropical Storm Gabrielle is struggling to maintain its intensity due to wind shear and dry air and this will be the case over the next few days. If Gabrielle survives, it may strengthen later this weekend into next week as it moves into a more favorable environment. Gabrielle will not threaten the U.S. and any impacts to Bermuda are uncertain at this time. A new tropical wave is forecast to move off the coast of Africa by Friday, so that will need to be watched for potential slow development.
